2013: A Photographic Review

31 December 2013

A year of amazing opportunities that enabled me the pleasure of having many new experiences

As far as years go, this one was pretty high up there. Okay, so things could have gone better at times but I’ve been given some amazing opportunities across the year and really enjoyed my European adventures. Being able to photograph the full seasons of both the Avon Tyres British GT Championship and the Blancpain Endurance Series has been a pleasure. Not to mention that at the beginning of the year I hadn’t even been out of the United Kingdom, at the end of 2013 I’ve now attended some of Europe’s biggest and best races visiting Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium along the way.

I’ve also welcomed new photography experiences in the form of rallying, volleyball and air shows. Hopefully these are all things I can pursue again in 2014. I’ve also been privileged enough to receive second place in the Renault MSA Young Photographer of the Year and was short-listed in the MSV Photo of the Year competition.

Thanks so much to all those who made 2013 what it was – you know who you are. Hope you enjoy my look back on a year of photography.

Bring on 2014!
